1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AIP Connect ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Australian Immigration Partners Pty Ltd ("AIP Connect", "we", "us", "our").
2. Description of Services
AIP Connect provides an online platform connecting job seekers with regional employment opportunities across Australia. Our services include:
- Job listing and posting services for employers
- Job search and application tools for candidates
- Job alerts and notifications
- Regional employment insights and resources
- Resume/CV storage and management
3. Geographic Coverage
AIP Connect holds valid recruitment licences across all Australian states and territories, including Western Australia. The Platform is available for employers and job seekers in:
- New South Wales (NSW)
- Victoria (VIC)
- Queensland (QLD)
- South Australia (SA)
- Western Australia (WA)
- Tasmania (TAS)
- Northern Territory (NT)
- Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
4. User Accounts
4.1 Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4.2 Account Types
- Candidate Account: For job seekers to search and apply for jobs
- Employer Account: For organizations to post job listings and manage applications
5. Job Posting Terms (Employers)
5.1 Pricing
Job postings are charged at $10 AUD per listing. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
5.2 Listing Duration
Each job listing remains active for 30 days from the date of publication, unless removed earlier by the employer or terminated by us for policy violations.
5.3 Content Requirements
Employers must ensure job postings:
- Are for genuine employment opportunities
- Comply with all applicable Australian employment laws (Fair Work Act 2009)
- Do not discriminate based on protected characteristics (Age Discrimination Act 2004, etc.)
- Accurately represent the position, compensation, and requirements
5.4 Refund Policy
Refunds are issued only if the job posting was rejected due to our error or technical failure. Refunds are NOT available for job postings removed due to policy violations or user error.
6. Candidate Obligations
Job seekers using the Platform agree to:
- Provide truthful information in applications and profiles
- Only apply for positions they are genuinely interested in and qualified for
- Not submit spam applications or misuse the application system
- Respect employer communications and respond professionally
- Keep their profile and resume information current
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may NOT use the Platform to:
- Post fraudulent job listings or submit false applications
- Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without consent
- Distribute malware, spam, or engage in phishing activities
- Violate any applicable laws, including employment and privacy laws
- Circumvent security measures or access restricted areas of the Platform
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, software, and trademarks, is owned by AIP Connect or our licensors and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you submit (resumes, job postings), but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute such content for Platform operations.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
- The accuracy or completeness of job listings or user profiles
- That job applications will result in employment offers
- That the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- The conduct or trustworthiness of employers or candidates
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIP CONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIP Connect, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Provide false or misleading information
You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
